John has sixteen years client-side marketing experience with RHM Foods, Guinness, Diageo and Barclays Bank in roles covering brand marketing, innovation, consumer planning and proposition development.
At Diageo he managed the marketing of Guinness, was instrumental in the roll out and development of ‘The Diageo Way of Brand Building’ and led Diageo’s first market Consumer Planning and Research function in GB, before setting up a customer proposition function for Barclays Bank
John graduated from London University with a degree in Agricultural Business Management, but had the self perception to realise that if he couldn’t look after a houseplant he wasn’t cut out to be a farmer.
Most likely to say: “Do I need a visa for Kazakhstan? Wait. Where is Kazakhstan? Will there be Test match coverage?
Least likely to say: “Let’s just do the workshop in London. They can travel to us.”
