Richard Brown, Managing Partner of Cognosis, delivered a workshop on Emotionally Intelligent Strategy as part of Henley’s Partnership Day. The Henley Partnership Day is a precursor to the 4-day Strategy Programme offered in Spring & Summer 2009.

CIPD Managing Change at Work Conference

Richard Brown, Managing Partner, Cognosis, and client guest speaker, Kevin Howard, VP of Marketing, Organización Corona, delivered the opening session of the Engagement Day at the Managing Change at Work Conference. Richard also facilitated a round-table discussion with conference delegates during the lunch period on the second day of the event.

The Chartered Institute for Personnel Development (CIPD) is the professional body for those involved in the management and development of people and currently enjoys memberships of 130,000 individuals +. The CIPD hosts a variety of conferences throughout the year attracting a wide variety of speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees.

Henley Work Forum

Richard Brown, Managing Partner, Cognosis, was the featured speaker at the Henley Work Forum scheduled on 11th November, 2008 at Henley Management College.

The Henley Work Forum provided a focal point for people interested in the way that working patterns are changing and the implications of the changes for managers in organisations. Through seminars, workshops, research briefings, and networking the Forum investigated new working practices and brought insight into the field of flexible working and its impact on the organisation. Delegates gained an understanding about the way working patterns are being influenced by technology and how managers need to adapt to this new world.
