Bettina Geissler

Consultant

Bettina joined Cognosis in January 2011 from Mercer Ltd, where she has been a Financial Systems Analyst, part of Mercer's EMEA Communications and Infrastructure Solutions Team. She has been in that role for a year and before that held a role as International Marketing & PR Executive with Fiorelli, TLG Brands where she created and implemented lead marketing communication strategies to make the label a household name in the international market.

Bettina studied at the University of Applied Science Hof, Germany and holds a Double Degree in International Management and Global Studies. She majored in international marketing and business development. She also has a BA Degree in Global Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. For both degrees she received honours for outstanding academic performance.

Since joining Cognosis, Bettina has been working with a luxury hotel brand to define and develop the role of their respective global loyalty program and reward propositions in China.

Bettina is a native German speaker, fluent in English and French, with some Spanish to boot. Outside of work, she enjoys Bikram Yoga, travel photography and has a strong interest in different cultures – she has travelled extensively in Europe, Asia, North America and Australasia.

Most likely to say: “There is so much to do and so little weekend! Haribos?! Anyone?!”

Least likely to say: “Germany was bloody lucky in the world cup against the mighty and very gracious England!”.
