Cameron Maxwell

Senior Consultant

Cameron joined Cognosis in January 2011. In 2005 he graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada with a Bachelor of Business Administration and specialized in marketing. He began his career with Unilever and gained experience working with a range of different brands in a number of account management positions. In 2009, he moved to the UK to pursue a Masters in International Development at the University of Bristol. His Masters dissertation looked at the strategic importance of location in an increasingly globalized business world and analyzed the case of the Bangalore IT cluster.

Since joining Cognosis, Cameron has been working on developing a competitor analysis for a leading energy drinks client. In addition, he has been analysing the future implication of emerging markets in the FMCG industry.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing basketball, seeing as much live music as possible and collecting records.

Most likely to say: “Anyone up for some basketball? It’s exactly the same as football, except you use your hands and it likely won’t end in a scoreless draw”.

Least likely to say: “I think I’ll take the friendly tube to work this morning”.
